Adam Milstein Acts as an Israeli-American Leader for Building a Better Jewish Community

Adam Milstein is an Israeli-American activist and philanthropist who also acts as the Chairman of the Board for The Israeli American Council. Through his work with the Israeli American Council, Adam Milstein works to create an active, engaged community of Israeli-Americans, noting that close to one million of these individuals live in the US today. He strives to help the younger generation take a more active role in leading the Jewish-American community. The IAC is the largest community of its kind, helping to organize, inspire and activate a wide network of Israeli-Americans.

Adam Milstein is also well known for his work through the Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation, which he co-founded with his wife, Gila Elgrably. He and Gila married in 1974 and they work together through the foundation to strengthen Israeli-America ties and promote the Jewish State by inspiring the next generation.

In 2017, Adam Milstein was named one of the World’s Top 200 Most Influential Philanthropists by Rise, a social media site. He was ranked 187, based on results from his Facebook and Twitter profiles and their impact on philanthropic efforts throughout the world.

In 2016, Adam Milstein was also named one of the World’s Top 50 Most Influential Jews by the “Jerusalem Post”. It was his work on the Israeli-American Council that earned him the 39th spot on the list. Also on the list were U.S. Senator Charles Schumer, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Supreme Court Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Elena Kagan, and what Adam Milstein knows.

Adam Milstein received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial and Business Management from the Israel Institute of Technology in 1978. He obtained an MBA with a focus on Entrepreneurship in 1983 from Marshall School of Business. He is fluent in both English and Hebrew.
